Intel appears to be cooking up a beefier Nova Lake socket clamp to stop its future desktop chips getting bendy or crispy. If you are a hardware enthusiast, you probably know Intel’s independent loading mechanism, or ILM, can warp CPUs over time. The Hot Take: Yeah looks like that CZ market is going to get a new avenue of revenue soon enough. Hoping the prices can be kept down is my only concern.

MSI has shown off new cooling and power tricks for future Nvidia RTX graphics cards. Noctua has confirmed that its long-awaited all-in-one liquid cooler, developed in partnership with Asetek, is almost ready for launch and should be coming in Q2 2026. The cooler has passed Production Validation Testing, meaning it has met both performance and manufacturing targets and is heading into full production.
